Terms of Contract – Sky Contract Services

These Terms of Contract set out the agreement between you (the customer) and Sky Contract Services in relation to all mobile phone, SIM-only, or device bundle plans provided through our website, partner networks, or authorised sales channels.

By entering into a contract with us, you agree to be bound by these terms in addition to our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Contract Policy.

Contract Agreement

When you sign up for a contract through Sky Contract Services, you enter into a formal agreement which may include:

  • A mobile service plan (minutes, texts, data)

  • A device repayment or lease agreement

  • A service term, typically 12, 18, or 24 months

  • A billing structure outlining your monthly obligations

The full details of your individual contract, including pricing and length, will be confirmed at the time of approval and sent to you via email.

Eligibility

To enter into a contract, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Be a permanent resident of the United Kingdom

  • Have a UK bank account

  • Consent to a credit check or affordability assessment (if applicable)

  • Provide accurate and verifiable information

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any contract based on failed eligibility checks or inaccurate data.

Contract Start Date

Your contract begins once:

  • Your application is approved by us and/or the network provider

  • You have accepted the contract offer

  • Your SIM card or device is dispatched and/or activated

Confirmation of contract commencement will be sent in writing to the email address you provided during sign-up.

Billing and Payments

You agree to:

  • Pay all monthly fees on or before the due date stated in your agreement

  • Pay any upfront or deposit amounts due at the point of activation

  • Maintain a valid payment method on your account

Failure to pay may result in service restrictions, additional charges, credit impact, and possible legal action to recover outstanding balances.

Early Termination

If you choose to end your contract before the agreed minimum term:

  • You may be liable for early termination charges

  • Any outstanding balance on your device (if applicable) will become due immediately

  • SIM-only rolling plans require 30 days’ written notice

You can request a settlement quote at any time by contacting our customer service team.

Cooling-Off Period

You have a legal right to cancel your contract within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery or activation without penalty, provided:

  • The device or SIM is unused and in resalable condition

  • You notify us via email or telephone during the cooling-off period

We will refund any payments made once the product is returned and inspected.

Network Responsibility

While Sky Contract Services acts as the primary point of contact, the underlying mobile network (e.g. O2, Vodafone, EE) is responsible for:

  • Network coverage and service availability

  • Porting and number transfers

  • Call/data reliability and performance

We are not liable for outages or interruptions caused by the network provider, but we will assist in resolving issues where possible.

Device Ownership

For device-inclusive contracts:

  • You do not own the device until all monthly payments have been completed

  • If the contract is cancelled early, the remaining balance for the device becomes immediately due

  • Devices must not be sold or transferred until fully paid off

Misuse and Fraud

You agree not to:

  • Provide false information during signup

  • Use the service for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive purposes

  • Sell or attempt to resell the service or device during the contract period

Misuse may result in immediate cancellation and referral to authorities or debt recovery services.

Amendments

Sky Contract Services reserves the right to amend these Terms of Contract as required by law or changes in service delivery. Any updates will be published on this page, and significant changes will be communicated to customers directly.
